    Within a short walk of Belvedere there are many food outlets, which include:
    American Sandwich Bar – offers a wide variety of freshly made sandwiches
    Philpotts – offers a wide variety of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and soups

    There are several pubs and wine bars in the area. Our favourite for lunchtime and evening, due to its location is:

    The Vine Inn – a two-minute walk from the office, this pub has a pleasant atmosphere, the food is nice, it is a good meeting place and the prices are reasonable.
    As Belvedere is situated near the centre of Manchester, whichever way you walk you will come across a variety of pubs and restaurants to meet your needs.

    There are a number of banks and cash machines on Mosley Street.

    Post Office
    The nearest main post office is situated in Spring Gardens, a five-minute walk from Belvedere.

    Fitness centres
    There are two local fitness centres, Fitness First and LA Fitness. Both are within a short walking distance of the Mercer office and offer:

  • Getting to Belvedere
    From M61 Southbound
    After Junction 3 on M61, follow signs for Castlefield and Manchester City Centre. Stay in left hand lane and come off at A580, signposted Manchester. Follow A580 right round, passing GX Superbowl on your left, this will take you onto the East Lancs. Road (still A580). Follow road straight through, passing three major sets of traffic lights. Carry on A580 East Lancs. Road and this will change into Broad Street, and then A6 Salford Crescent (basically all one road). Stay in left hand lane along Salford Crescent, passing University of Salford on your left.

    From end of the M602
    From the end of the M602, carry on straight through the traffic lights at the end of the motorway onto Regent Road (A57). At the third major set of lights on Regent Road, stay in the left hand lane and turn left into Water Street, signposted towards Castlefield. At the next set of lights turn right into Liverpool Road, which will take you past the Science & Industry Museum on your left. At the next set of lights (staggered crossroads) go straight across. At the next set of lights, go left into Lower Mosley Street and the GMEX car park is on your left.

    From end of the M56
    From the end of the M56, carry along Princess Parkway (A5103), following this road all the way into Manchester City Centre. At the roundabout beneath the Mancunian Way, carry straight over following the signs for the GMEX. Follow this road round to the right, through two sets of traffic lights, this will lead you onto Lower Mosley Street with the GMEX car park on left. Go straight through at the first and second sets of traffic lights (Chapel Street), after the second set get in to the right hand lane. At the third set of traffic lights turn right into Trinity Way and follow road straight up past the Opera House theatre. At the traffic lights ahead turn right onto Deansgate. At the next set of lights turn left into Great Bridgewater Street. At the next set of lights turn left into Lower Mosley Street and the GMEX car park is on your left.

    GMEX to Belvedere
    To find our offices from the GMEX car park, take the Lower Mosley Street exit from the GMEX car park and turn left. Follow the road straight on, keeping parallel with the Metro link tram lines. Continue on past the memorial and library towards Princess Street. Cross over Princess Street and carry on up Mosley Street, with the art gallery on your right hand side, take the first left into Booth Street, carry on to Cooper Street, cross over Cooper Street & Belvedere is the main building on your left.

    15 to 20 minutes from the station by taxi (cost approx. £5.00-£6.00)

    There is no car parking facility available at Belvedere. Please use the GMEX car park.
