    Standard office hours are 8 am to 6 pm every weekday. The building is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week.All visitors should report to reception and sign in, reception will advise from there.

    The Paragon is located at the centre of Bristol where a large number of amenities are available.
    These include:

    • Philpotts – on Victoria Street
    • Red Mullet – fish & chip restaurant located on the other side of Bristol Bridge, on the right-hand side of the road
    • Mange Tout – located over Bristol Bridge, opposite Grand Hotel

    Due to the central location of the office, there are a large number of bars and restaurants in the area. Here are just a few:

    • Aqua – on the opposite side of the river along Welsh Back
    • Europa – 100 yards along the road from the Red Mullet
    • The Old Fishmarket – Baldwin Street, just off St. Nicholas Market
    • Totos – Redcliffe Street
    • Cornubia – directly behind 32 Victoria Street

    Banks and cash points
    Bank of Scotland, HSBC , Lloyds & NatWest are all within a five-minute walk from the office.Post Office
    The main Post Office is located on the top floor of The Galleries shopping centre.

    Shopping
    All the major high street chains are located in or around The Galleries shopping centre, which is a five-minute walk from the office or Cabot Circus shopping centre, which is about a 15-minute walk away.

    There is an indoor market located in St Nicholas Square, across Bristol Bridge, with lots of smaller shops around the area.

    By roadTravelling from the M5
    From M5, bear left onto slip road M4, J20/M5, J15 (0.5 miles), then follow the directions below from the M4

    Travelling from the M4
    Exit onto slip road (M4, J19)
    At the roundabout, take the second exit onto M32 (4.1 miles)
    Continue onto A4032 (0.9 miles)
    Turn left onto Bond Street A4044 (0.2 miles)
    At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Castle Street (0.1 miles)
    Turn left onto Tower Hill (0.1 miles)
    Turn right onto Passage Street (0.1 miles)
    Continue onto CounterslipThe Paragon Building is situated on the left hand side, after the Fire StationBy rail
    Temple Meads Station is approximately a 10-minute walk to/from the Paragon building

    From Temple Meads main exit, walk down slope to the main road and turn right heading for the large roundabout

    Cross over the roundabout in an anti-clockwise direction and take the third exit into Victoria Street (the Novotel Hotel will be on your right)

    Walk up Victoria Street for approx 100m (you will pass a pedestrian crossing and the Shakespeare pub)

    Turn right after Tesco Express. The Mercer office (The Paragon) entrance will now be on your right

    Travel times to the office
    25 minutes from Bristol airport by taxi (cost approx. £16.00)
    5 minutes from Temple Meads station by taxi (cost approx. £5.00)

    Parking
    There is an NCP car park in Queen Charlotte Street, on the other side of the river.

    There is an area in the Paragon Building basement car park for motorbikes and pushbikes. Please inform security if you are intending to leave a bike there. Any cycle left is the owner’s responsibility.
